Monterey, August 6, 2025 - Monterey Car Week 2025 promises to be another feast for supercar enthusiasts - with a highlight from Woking: McLaren presents three very special models at the popular 'Exotics on Broadway' event, including the eagerly awaited American debut of the McLaren W1, the special edition McLaren 750S Le Mans and the Artura Spider 'States of Endurance'.

These exclusive vehicles are all about 30 years of Le Mans victories, high-performance engineering and the unmistakable design of the British sports car brand.

McLaren W1: Premiere in the USA

The new McLaren W1, which was unveiled globally in October 2024, will be shown publicly on American soil for the first time on Saturday, August 16. The model represents the next evolutionary step in the legendary "1" series and follows in the footsteps of two icons: McLaren F1 and McLaren P1™.

With a V8 hybrid powertrain and an impressive 1,275 hp, the W1 is the most powerful production model in McLaren history - more powerful than any of its core competitors. The W1 is not only the fastest-accelerating McLaren ever, but also the fastest on the racetrack: it beats the Senna by a full 3 seconds per lap on the company's own reference track and is faster than a Speedtail sprinting to 300 km/h.

The W1 thus marks a new milestone in Hypercar- uncompromising, futuristic and consistently designed for performance.

McLaren 750S Le Mans: A tribute to 1995

At the same time, the special edition McLaren 750S Le Mans will also be on display in America for the first time. This special edition model is based on the current 750S Coupé and has been created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the historic 1995 Le Mans victory - a race won by McLaren on its very first participation.

The edition is visually reminiscent of the legendary #59 F1 GTR and is offered in the special color Le Mans Grey - alternatively also in classic McLaren Orange. The characteristic roof air intake, the 5-spoke LM rims and, above all, the new MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK) are striking features.

The latter not only gives the 750S more visual presence, but also 10% more downforce compared to the production model. The new front splitter, a carbon-coated active rear spoiler with end plates and a redesigned underwing panel underline the vehicle's motorsport DNA.

States of Endurance: McLaren rolls from coast to coast

A third highlight is the start of the special "States of Endurance" tour, a nationwide road trip to celebrate the Le Mans triumph. Following the distance of the 24-hour race, three McLaren models - including a specially wrapped Artura Spider and two 750Ss - will drive from Monterey to Miami.

Each vehicle has a unique wrap:

  • Artura Spider: Daytime driving design

  • 750S Dawn: inspired by the dawn

  • 750S Night: in the style of the night-time Le Mans Hours

In addition to numerous stops, events and customer events along the route, the tour also serves to closely involve McLaren customers, fans and media representatives in the brand experience - in the spirit of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Nicolas Brown, President of McLaren The Americas, emphasizes:

"Monterey Car Week is always a great opportunity to connect with customers, prospects and fans. The W1 is a very special supercar that embodies McLaren's Formula 1 mentality. The 750S Le Mans and the Artura Spider are in no way inferior to this motorsport DNA. We are very excited to show all three cars in Monterey."

Conclusion

With the W1, the 750S Le Mans and the Artura Spider "States of Endurance", McLaren is once again demonstrating its innovative strength, its racing history and its understanding of automotive emotions. Exotics on Broadway will therefore be a must-attend event for all fans of the British super sports brand - and a first taste of an exciting Monterey Car Week weekend.
