Denmark/Goodwood, July 10, 2025 - A monumental moment for Zenvo Automotive: The Danish Hypercar presented its latest model, the Zenvo Aurora, in motion for the first time on the opening day of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. With the VP0 prototype and the impressive "Mjølner" V12 quad turbo engine, Zenvo entered a new era - loud, powerful and highly ambitious.

The first step into a new era

Against the legendary backdrop of Goodwood, the cloth was pulled from the first ready-to-drive prototype of the Aurora - clad in eye-catching harlequin camouflage. The VP0 shows the final body shape of the road-oriented "Tur" variant for the first time. The highlight of the morning was the first public launch of the Mjølner engine, conducted by the Duke of Richmond himself, together with Zenvo Chairman Jens Sverdrup. Thousands of spectators witnessed the first dynamic appearance of the Aurora live on the famous Hillclimb.

A "blank-sheet" Hypercar - rethought from the ground up

"This was more than just a premiere - it is a milestone for our entire development program," explained Jens Sverdrup. "We didn't just develop a new car, we realized a completely new philosophy - with an in-house designed V12 quad-turbo, an innovative monocoque and a unique design language. The goal was never less than the uncompromising Hypercar of the future."

The entire vehicle was developed from scratch. Components that did not achieve the hoped-for performance values were systematically redesigned. In particular, the 6.6-liter V12 engine with four turbochargers was developed in close partnership with MAHLE Powertrain. The unit is designed to deliver over 1,850 hp and speeds of over 9,500 rpm.

Technology partnership with MAHLE Powertrain and Managing Composites

MAHLE Powertrain was the technical partner during the entire development period and supervised the calibration and mechanical tuning of the engine in Denmark and the UK. John Hollingworth (Marketing Director MAHLE): "The Festival of Speed is the heart of the automotive calendar - and the Mjølner is the heart of the Aurora."

Carbon specialist Managing Composites also played a central role. CEO Lluc Marti describes the project as "one of the most ambitious technical designs in the industry", drawing on technologies from Formula 1 and aviation. The new ZM1 monocoque was specially developed for maximum torsional rigidity, low weight and safety requirements - while at the same time offering extreme aerodynamic efficiency.

The Aurora embodies the consistent evolution of Zenvo: a Hypercar entirely hand-built in Europe that reinterprets the heritage of performance, exclusivity and innovation. Production of the Aurora is limited to 100 units - divided into Tur (road-oriented) and Agil (track-focused) variants. All vehicles will be delivered from 2026.

With its successful debut on the Goodwood race track, Zenvo has not only unleashed the engine, but also the imagination of the Hypercar.
