With a sensational lap time of 1:09.8 minutes on the legendary Top Gear Test Track in Dunsfold, UK, the Praga Bohema has entered the history books as the fastest production vehicle with a pure combustion engine. The lap was driven by none other than Ben Collins, the former "Stig", on normal road sports tires - no tricks, no racing slicks, no hybrid support.
The ingredients for success: 700 hp & 1000 kg
The Praga Bohema is a purist super sports bike with uncompromising racing technology:
Engine: 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo from Nissan (GT-R basis)
Power: 700 hp and 750 Nm
Weight: only 1000 kg
Bodywork: Made entirely of carbon
Transmission: Hewland sequential gearbox
Drive: Rear-wheel drive
Downforce: over 900 kg at 250 km/h
0-100 km/h: under 3 seconds
The Bohema is therefore more GT3 than Gran Turismo - but road-legal and suitable for everyday use.

1:09.8 - a time with a signal effect
The lap was precisely recorded with VBox telemetry - ridden under series conditions. The Praga almost undercuts the time of the Aston Martin Valkyriea hybrid hypercar with 1140 hp.
Ben Collins quote:
"I knew that the Bohema was fast - but on road rubber, this time was a real sensation. If we had put together the perfect lap, we would have finished right at the front."
Customer handover & Goodwood Festival of Speed
As part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, Praga will hand over three new Bohema cars to customers from all over the world - including the first vehicle for a US customer. In addition to the delivery, Ben Collins will personally tackle the iconic Hillclimb circuit with the new owners.
The vehicles are individually manufactured - each Bohema is unique.
Quote from Tomas Kasparek (Praga CEO):
"The record is not just a number, but the result of a real team effort. Customers who take delivery of their Bohema at Goodwood don't just get a car - they become part of a movement."

A video of the record lap was published on DriveTribe. In addition, star photographer GF Williams perfectly staged the vehicle in an exclusive shoot at Goodwood House.
Conclusion: Bohema is not hype - it is proof
In an era of electric super sports cars and hybrid monsters, Praga shows that lightweight construction, precision and racing technology can impress even without a plug.
The Praga Bohema is therefore one of the most uncompromising new releases of 2025 - handcrafted, brutally fast and breathtakingly beautiful.
