Sealy, Texas – Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) and Hennessey Special Vehicles (HSV) have announced the groundbreaking of a new advanced manufacturing facility at the company’s Texas headquarters. The expansion marks a major milestone for America’s leading high-performance automaker and tuner, enabling production to double to around 2,000 vehicles per year.
Expanding to Meet Global Demand
The $15+ million investment will more than double Hennessey’s footprint to over 100,000 square feet. The new facility will bring composite manufacturing and vehicle painting in-house, boosting both efficiency and production capability while maintaining the brand’s renowned craftsmanship.
Construction has already begun, with the first vehicles expected to roll out in spring 2026.
Company founder and CEO John Hennessey emphasized the importance of the expansion:
“We’re excited to see such strong demand for our specially built vehicles. This investment will allow us to meet growing demand while maintaining the quality and excitement our customers expect.”
Growth Across the Hennessey Ecosystem
The new manufacturing site is part of Hennessey’s 143-acre campus located on Interstate 10, just west of Houston. The expansion also includes a 10,000-square-foot building for the Hennessey Tuner School, a unique trade school dedicated to training the next generation of high-performance automotive technicians through both theoretical and hands-on programs.
Hennessey’s production numbers continue to climb sharply:
560 vehicles built and delivered in 2024
900 units forecast for 2025
Over 1,300 vehicles expected in 2026
The business expansion will add up to 80 new jobs by the end of 2026.
Venom F5 and Global Dealer Network
Alongside its factory expansion, Hennessey continues to grow its global dealer network, offering high-performance models such as the Venom 800, VelociRaptor 1000, and the Venom F5 hypercar—each available with full factory warranty through authorized dealers.
The Venom F5, powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 “Fury” engine producing over 2,000 horsepower, remains the centerpiece of Hennessey’s hypercar division. Limited to just 99 units, the F5 lineup includes Coupe, Roadster, Revolution, and special one-off editions.

A Legacy of American Performance
Reflecting on the company’s journey, John Hennessey added:

This expansion ensures that our American-built vehicles continue to set global standards for speed and innovation.”
Conclusion
With this expansion, Hennessey cements its position as one of the world’s leading high-performance engineering companies, blending advanced technology, craftsmanship, and the spirit of American innovation. From hypercars to muscle trucks, the new facility represents the next chapter in Hennessey’s mission to build the fastest, most thrilling vehicles on earth.
