RML Group Unveils GT Hypercar at Salon Privé 2025 – A New Benchmark in Bespoke Performance
Woodstock, UK (August 27, 2025) – At the prestigious Salon Privé, RML Group has revealed the first production unit of its GT Hypercar (GTH), a limited series that will see just 39 examples built. Drawing inspiration from legendary Le Mans Hypercar racers, the GTH blends RML’s four decades of motorsport excellence with cutting-edge engineering and bespoke craftsmanship.
A Legacy of Motorsport, Reimagined for the Road
Developed under the internal codename P39, the GT Hypercar was conceived as the “Ultimate GT”, combining uncompromising track performance with road-going usability. The car features active aerodynamics and driver-selectable damping systems, allowing it to deliver lap-record pace on the circuit while remaining compliant on public roads.
Michael Mallock, board member responsible for RML’s Bespoke Division, emphasized:
“This is a proud day in RML history. The GT Hypercar has exceeded even my expectations on both road and track. It is the ultimate expression of what our team can achieve.”
Exclusive 40th Anniversary Edition
The first GTH shown at Salon Privé carries even greater significance: it is one of only 10 “40th Anniversary Special Edition (SE)” variants.
Key upgrades include:
Performance Pack and Track Pack with selectable ride height, rear roll cage, and rear-seat delete.
Power output of 920 hp and over 1,000 Nm torque, tuned in partnership with Litchfield Motors.
Unique Storm Purple exterior, tinted visual carbon bonnet and roof, and gold center-lock wheels.
A bespoke interior with Crayon stitching, matching seatbelts, and Storm Purple-finished roll cage.

Engineering Excellence in Every Detail
RML’s GT Hypercar is a statement of the company’s engineering mastery. The full carbon body, active aero, and advanced suspension deliver a blend of speed and refinement rarely seen in limited-run vehicles.
Paul Dickinson, CEO of RML Group, highlighted:
“GT Hypercar demonstrates the very best of RML Group. Our ability to create extraordinary world-beating solutions in record time is unmatched.”
The P39 Legacy and Beyond
The P39 codename marks this as the 39th bespoke project undertaken by RML. Among its past successes is the NIO EP9 prototype EV supercar (P31), which set lap records at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and showcased RML’s VarEVolt battery technology.
Founded in 1984 by racing driver and engineer Ray Mallock, RML has built everything from championship-winning touring cars and GT racers to advanced electric prototypes. Today, the company continues to provide design, development, and manufacturing expertise for OEMs and private clients.
Conclusion
With the GT Hypercar, RML Group has created more than just a car – it has set a new standard for bespoke engineering and performance. Combining Le Mans-inspired DNA, record-breaking power, and luxury refinement, the GTH is both a tribute to RML’s heritage and a vision for the future of high-performance motoring.
