Lamborghini triumphs at the Red Dot Awards 2025 with complete hybrid model range

Sant'Agata Bolognese, July 3, 2025 - Automobili Lamborghini has secured three major awards for design excellence at the prestigious Red Dot Awards 2025 - once again making design history. The new Revuelto wins the highest honor Red Dot: Best of the Best in the Product Design category, while the Urus SE and the brand-new Temerario also receive a Red Dot Award. This recognizes the manufacturer's complete, fully hybridized model range - a strong statement of innovation, performance and visual power.
A design team under power: Lamborghini Centro Stile as a creative engine
Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini, describes the Triumph as "a tribute to and confirmation of the passionate and determined creative work of the Centro Stile team". The in-house design center has been shaping the brand's unmistakable design language for over two decades. Expressive lines, uncompromising proportions and the iconic silhouette are the result of a unique Italian understanding of design that is consistently developed further.
Borkert emphasizes: "Our aim is to give Adrenalin a shape and make every car instantly recognizable - even from a distance."
Red Dot Award: A stage for global design excellence
The Red Dot Design Award has been one of the most prestigious design awards in the world for almost 70 years. Every year, an international jury honors innovative projects in the fields of product design, brand and communication design as well as design concepts. The official gala will take place on July 8 at the Aalto Theater in Essen.

The Revuelto: High Performance Electrified Vehicle with top rating

With the Revuelto, Lamborghini presents its first model of the new HPEV generation. As a hybrid super sports car with over 1,015 hp, it combines a brand-new V12 engine with three electric motors and, for the first time, a dual-clutch transmission in a V12 model from the brand. The Red Dot jury praised the innovative design, the optimized aerodynamics, the carbon fibre-based frame and the ground-breaking technical architecture. A new chapter begins - both visually and technically.
The Temerario: power, comfort and character at 10,000 rpm

The second prize winner is the Temerario - a true "Fuoriclasse". With its completely newly developed 920 hp twin-turbo V8 hybrid, the radical super sports car offers a driving experience at the highest level. The engine is the world's first production super sports car to reach 10,000 revolutions per minute. The Temerario combines driving dynamics with suitability for everyday use - thanks to generous space and superior comfort. More racetrack performance in a road-legal vehicle is hardly conceivable.
The Urus SE: SUV performance of the next level

The triple victory is completed by the new Urus SE, the plug-in hybrid version of the super SUV. With an 800 hp drive system consisting of a combustion engine and electric motor, the Urus SE offers impressive efficiency combined with outstanding performance. The revised aerodynamics, advanced technologies in the cockpit and a modern exterior design make it a benchmark in its segment. No other SUV combines power, dynamism and versatility with such aplomb.
