At a time when hybrid drives, digital driving aids and automated systems dominate the market, Garagisti & Co. is taking a bold step in the opposite direction. With the brand new GP1, the British manufacturer presents a Hypercar that focuses uncompromisingly on driving pleasure, mechanical perfection and the soul of the classic super sports car.

The GP1 is not just a tribute to the icons of the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s - it is a statement. Built in a strictly limited edition of just 25 road versions, each one is handcrafted according to the individual wishes of its owner.

A V12 at the heart - uncompromising and emotional

The heart of the GP1 is a completely newly developed 6.6-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, created by Italtecnica Srl, one of Italy's most renowned motorsport and drive specialists.

  • Power: 800 hp at 9,000 rpm

  • Torque: over 700 Nm

  • Character: purely mechanical engine sound, inspired by racing engines of past decades

Power is transmitted in the classic manner via a 6-speed manual gearbox from Xtrac, which stands for maximum precision and maximum driving experience. No paddle shifters, no automatic - the driver alone decides here.

Design: homage and independence

Chief designer Angel Guerra (formerly of Bugatti and Rimac) has created a vehicle that quotes design history without becoming a copy. Echoes of the Lancia Stratos Zero, the Lamborghini Countach and other masterpieces by Marcello Gandini are recognizable, but the GP1 has an unmistakable, organic design language.

  • Upper body surfaces: inspired by the wedge era, sculptural and timeless

  • Aerodynamics: huge rear diffuser with ground-effect technology

  • Chassis: Carbon monocoque, developed by DEXET Technologies

Interior: Minimalism for maximum concentration

The cockpit follows the principle of "form follows function" - everything that does not directly contribute to driving is omitted.

  • Two-chamber cockpit layout for perfect ergonomics

  • No oversized displays - instead analog instruments and clearly structured controls

  • Materials: carbon, aluminum, leather - functional and high-quality

"No gimmicks, no unnecessary distractions - just you, the machine and the road," was the design briefing.

Road racer and GT tourer in one

Despite its low dry weight of 1,000 kg, the GP1 is not only designed for the racetrack. It is also designed to impress as a grand tourer - with a moderate noise level in the interior, comfortable suspension (Öhlins), luggage space and suitability for everyday use. However, when it is challenged, it shows its wild side: raw, direct and emotional.

An alliance of specialists

Garagisti & Co. embodies the philosophy of the "Garagisti" - private racing teams that shook up Formula 1 in the 1950s and 1960s. The GP1 also brings together leading specialists:

  • Italtecnica Srl: Engine development

  • DEXET Technologies: Carbon structure and aerodynamics

  • Brembo, Öhlins, Xtrac: motorsport technology for the road

Price, exclusivity and the "Open Doors" program

The Garagisti & Co. GP1 costs from 2.45 million pounds (plus tax and transportation) and is manufactured exclusively to customer order.

Special highlight: The first 12 buyers will be part of the Open Doors program - an exclusive invitation to experience the creation process of their car up close, visit the workshops and actively participate in the fine-tuning.

Vision and philosophy

Co-founder Mario Escudero describes the original idea as follows:

"What if the golden age of analog supercars had never ended? We wanted to answer this question - with our hands, our hearts and our passion. The GP1 is our answer."

Conclusion: The Garagisti & Co. GP1 is not just a new Hypercar, but a manifesto for purist driving. In an automotive world full of assistance systems and electric motors, it is a rarity - a pure, analog driver's dream that relies uncompromisingly on emotion, craftsmanship and tradition.
